Griffonia Simplicifolia Lectin I (GSL I) Isolectin B4, Fluorescein

Cat: PL00677
Size: 0.5 mg
Sugar Specificity: Galactose
Datasheet:

Description

GSL I-B4 isolates contain only B subunits. It is a useful marker for endothelial cells in non-primates, such as mice, rats, rabbits, and goats, as well as for non-peptidenergic non-myelinated primary afferent neurons. This "B" -rich lectin preferentially agglutinates the blood group B cells and is specific for alpha-galactose residues. Fluorescein-labeled GSLI-B4 has an appropriate amount of fluorescent dye binding to provide optimal staining properties for this lectin. This conjugate contains essentially no unconjugated fluorescein and is preserved with sodium azide.
