Description

The plant cell wall surrounds the plant cell, forming a complex network of polysaccharides, including cellulose, hemicellulose, pectin polysaccharides, and glycoproteins. Anchored or embedded in the plant cell wall are other polymers, such as lignin, lignin, or cutin. Glucuronoxyglycan is a hemicellulose plant cell wall polysaccharide containing glucuronic acid and xylose.
