Description

Ferridoxin is an iron-thionein that transfers electrons in a variety of metabolic reactions. It plays a key role in both the transfer of photoreducing capacity to Fd-NADP+ REDOX reductase (FNR) to form NADPH and in mediating the circulating electron flow around photosystem I (PSI).
