Description

Fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) is an enzyme that degrades bioactive fatty acid amides into corresponding acids, thereby terminating the signaling function of these molecules. Convert n-acetylethanolamine (NAE) to ethanolamine. May be involved in abscisic acid signaling and plant defense.
