Description

The plant cell wall surrounds the plant cell, forming a complex network of polysaccharides, including cellulose, hemicellulose, pectin polysaccharides, and glycoproteins. Arabinogalactan can exist in plants as a free glycan, or it can be attached to rhamnose-galacturon-1 or the protein skeleton.
