Description

Actin, a highly conserved protein, is an important part of the cytoskeleton and plays an important role in cytoplasmic flow, cell shape determination, cell division, organelle movement and extension growth. It is preferentially expressed in buds and expanding tissues, flower organ primordium, developing seeds and forming inflorescences.
