Description

Curvature thylakoid 1A (CURT1A) belongs to a family of proteins that are conserved in plants and cyanobacteria. There are four types of Arabidopsis CURT1 proteins :CURT1A, B, C, and d. It has been proposed that the CURT1 protein modifies the thylakoid structure by inducing membrane curvature at the grain edge.
