Description

Porphyrinogen III oxidase is an enzyme for biosynthesis of tetrapyrrole. The isomer is encoded by a mononuclear gene of Chlamydomonas rheinacea. The abundance of the protein is increased in copper-deficient cells. This protein is localized to the chloroplast.
