Description

CPT6(Cis-pentenyltransferase 6) is a class of enzymes that synthesize the cis-(Z) configuration of the isopentenoid hydrocarbon skeleton. AtCPT6 is one of nine cpt species in Arabidopsis that catalyzes the synthesis of the very short chain cluster isoprene alcohol family with 6, 7, and 8 isoprene units.
