Additional information

This antibody reacts with both isoforms: ASN1 and ASN2

Description

ASN(glutamine-dependent asparagine synthetase) is essential for nitrogen assimilation, distribution and re-transport in plants through phloem. ASN2 is expressed in leaves and ASN1 is expressed in flower organs. The amino acid sequences of Arabidopsis ASN1 and ASN2 are 76% identical. The sequence homology of ASN2 amino acid between Arabidopsis and maize is 73.6%.
