Description

Unlike the lectins of Chrysanthemum and lotus, which tend to bind focusing residues (alpha-1,2), the lectins of golden lotus tend to bind focusing structures (alpha-1,6) associated with n-acetylglucosamine or (alpha-1,3) associated with n-acetyllactose amino.
