Antibody is recongizing ABI4 fused with GST and GUS, Reactivity on endogenous extract needs to be confirmed
ABI4 (Abscisic acid insensitive 4) is a transcription factor involved in the expression of stress factor regulatory genes. They are sensitive to abscisic acid (ABA) and regulate ABA signaling pathways during seed germination through nitrate-mediated lateral root inhibition, hexokinase-dependent glucose reactions (including feedback regulation of photosynthesis and mobilization of stored lipids during germination), and responses to NaCl, KCl, or mannitol-mediated osmotic stress. It plays a role in sucrose perception or signaling, especially in low flux far-red light. ABI4 gene is most expressed in developing stems and less expressed in seedlings. Alternative names: abscisic acid insensitivity 4,ABI4, glucose insensitivity 6,GIN6, sucrose induced impaired 3,ISI3, SALOBRENO 5,SAN5, sucrose uncoupling 6,SUN6, sugar insensitivity 5,SIS5, ERF ABI4, Ethylene response transcription factors ABI4, ERF052, At2g40220, T7M7_16, T7M7.16.
