Target Information
Target Name IL-36 Receptor
Gene Abbr. IL36RN
Gene ID 26525
Full Name interleukin 36 receptor antagonist
Alias FIL1, FIL1(DELTA), FIL1D, IL-36Ra, IL1F5
Introduction The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. This cytokine was shown to specifically inhibit the activation of NF-kappaB induced by interleukin 1 family, member 6 (IL1F6). This gene and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been reported. [provided by RefSeq]
Product Details
Host Rabbit
Clonality Polyclonal
Clone No. N/A
Isotype IgG
Immunogen This protein-A purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a recombinant protein raised in yeast, corresponding to the 155 amino acids of the mature bovine IL-1F5 protein.
Usage
Application WB, ELISA
Dilutions Western Blot (1 µg/mL); ELISA (1:8000)
Reactivity Bovine, Canine, Mammal
Specificity This antibody is specific for bovine IL-1F5 protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with IL-1F5 from dog and mouse sources based on 94% identity with the immunizing sequence. Partial reactivity is expected against horse based on 91% homology, and to human, chimpanzee, macaque, and rat based on 90% homology with the immunizing sequence.
