Description
16bp deletion
Target Information
Target Name DYRK1B
Gene Abbr. DYRK1B
Gene ID 9149
Full Name dual specificity tyrosine phosphorylation regulated kinase 1B
Alias AOMS3, MIRK
Species Human
Genomic Locus chr19:39830696
Transcript NM_006483
WT Expression Level 1.85 TPM (TPM = Transcripts per million; any value less than 3 is considered non-expressing)
Introduction This gene encodes a member of a family of nuclear-localized protein kinases. The encoded protein participates in the regulation of the cell cycle. Expression of this gene may be altered in tumor cells, and mutations in this gene were found to cause abdominal obesity-metabolic syndrome 3. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2014].
