| Introduction | This gene encodes a member of the ras superfamily. This gene is imprinted gene with monoallelic expression of the paternal allele which is associated with growth suppression. The encoded protein acts as a tumor suppressor whose function is abrogated in many ovarian and breast cancers. | Revival | Rapidly thaw cells in a 37°C water bath. Transfer contents into a tube containing pre-warmed media. Centrifuge cells and seed into 10 mL of pre-warmed media in a 10 cm dish. |
