Senior Scientist, Dendrimer
Role Summary
CD BioSciences is committed to providing innovative dendrimer macromolecule products and high-quality custom services to passionate researchers worldwide. We are looking for an outstanding, innovative, and creative senior scientist to join our R&D team. This senior scientist will play a variety of roles within the R&D group, focusing on dendrimer synthesis, characterization, engineering, and reagent development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Familiar with the synthesis and engineering of dendrimers and able to characterize dendrimers using advanced instrumentation.
- Work closely with other scientists to develop dendrimer products for biomedical applications including diagnostics, therapeutics, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine.
- Ensure timely delivery of experimental results.
- Interprets and analyzes experimental data and designs further experiments.
- Responsible for using scientific expertise and judgment to initiate, design and execute experiments under tight time constraints.
- Assist with lab management, actively participate, advise, and present results to team members.
Basic Qualifications
- PhD in organic chemistry, materials science or another related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a biochemical CRO/CMO company.
- Experimental experience in dendrimer research, including synthesis, engineering, and characterization assays to develop dendrimer products for transfection, diagnostics, therapeutics, drug delivery, and for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-functional team in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to design and manage projects and to independently lead R&D teams.
- Experience in preparing high quality documentation, including technical reports, presentations, SOPs, experimental protocols, and regulatory documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
