Research Scientist, Dendrimer
Role Summary
As a research specialist in dendrimers, CD BioSciences is committed to providing innovative dendrimer products and high-quality custom services. We are looking for research scientists with extensive experience in the synthesis, engineering, and characterization of dendrimers to lead laboratory teams to complete contract dendrimer studies based on customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- With the support of the research team, design detailed, executable experimental procedures based on client needs and ensure timely delivery of rigorously validated results without compromising quality.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and safety protocols, conduct experiments, troubleshoot, data collection and data analysis in compliance with all applicable regulatory and safety standards.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise lab members to complete experiments, collect and summarize experimental data, and complete project reports.
- Demonstrate effective results to management and development teams with the ability to identify clear actionable next steps.
Basic Qualifications
- PhD in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry or materials science or another related field.
- Extensive laboratory experience (minimum 1 year) in a biochemical CRO/CMO company.
- Familiarity with synthesis, characterization assays and engineering experiments on dendrimers macromolecules.
- Experience using specialized laboratory equipment such as TEM, FTIR and DLS.
- Strong leadership, organizational, collaboration and communication skills.
