Description
Frameshift mutation
Target Information
Target Name ARHGAP12
Gene Abbr. ARHGAP12
Gene ID 94134
Full Name Rho GTPase activating protein 12
Species Human
WT Expression Level 12.31 TPM (TPM = Transcripts per million; any value less than 3 is considered non-expressing)
Introduction This gene encodes a member of a large family of proteins that activate Rho-type guanosine triphosphate (GTP) metabolizing enzymes. The encoded protein may be involved in suppressing tumor formation by regulating cell invasion and adhesion. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2012].
